Why Lausanne?
Lausanne, The Olympic Capital
Lausanne is the capital and largest city of the Swiss
French-speaking canton of Vaud.
Initially a Celtic and Roman settlement on the shores of the lake,
Lausanne became a town at the foot of Notre Dame, a cathedral
built in the 12th century. In the 20th century, Lausanne became a
focus of international sport, hosting the International Olympic
Committee (which has recognized the city as the "Olympic Capital"
since 1994).

My favourite places in Lausanne

What I liked about it
Downtown is a fun café/restaurant. It's my go to if my wife and I don't know what to eat. The stuff is so polite and friendly! I'd suggest the 'Belphegor' dish for who like sweet and salty at same time.

La Mamma Osteria
La Mamma Osteria is an Italian Restaurant with classic pasta and pizza dishes. It's situated close to the train station, inside the Hotel "Alpha-Palmiers".
Address:
Rue du Petit-Chêne 34, 1003 Lausanne
What I liked about it
If you want pizza, this is the place to go to. Napolitan style pizza in Lausanne, it feels like you're in Naples again. I'd suggest the "Parma Bella". They also have good ol' steak.

Coffee Page
Cute little coffee shop. A really lovely cafe where you want to go and meet with your friends. This is exactly the place where it is cozy, quiet and delicious.
Address:
Av. de Tivoli 4, 1007 Lausanne
What I liked about it
